ABOUT THE TWEEDS WE SELL - LIVE FOR TWEED

We sell a range of quality vintage and modern-day tweed jackets. We try and source the very best men's and ladies vintage tweed jackets. All the tweed jackets we purchase are handpicked by ourselves from all over the UK. Our Vintage and modern tweed jackets can date between 1950 - present day, however, when sourcing our vintage tweed jackets it is more common that some of the older vintage tweed jackets have better quality and superior weave mixes which you can no longer purchase in today's market place. This is more apparent on Hunting and shooting vintage tweed jackets and suits.

When we source tweed jackets, every item is inspected with a keen eye and with quality in mind. The key areas we check on every tweed jacket is the inner and outer of the jacket, but we also pay special attention to the inner underarm lining of the tweed jacket as underarm staining is very common and historic repairs as some of the jackets can be up to 70 years old. The older tweed jacket may have wear, however, a certain amount of wear may be acceptable if the repair has been done to tailor standard and the look of the vintage tweed jacket is not ruined. All wear is noted on all of our items and clear photographs have been taken.

Once the tweed jackets have arrived at our unit, they are re-inspected and industrial steam cleaned with kills all germs and bacteria on all of our items.
