All the tweed jackets we purchase are handpicked by ourselves from all over the UK. Our Vintage and modern tweed jackets can date between 1950 - present day, however, when sourcing our vintage tweed jackets it is more common that some of the older vintage tweed jackets have better quality and superior weave mixes which you can no longer purchase in today's market place. This is more apparent on Hunting and shooting vintage tweed jackets and suits. When we source tweed jackets, every item is inspected with a keen eye and with quality in mind. The key areas we check on every tweed jacket is the inner and outer of the jacket, but we also pay special attention to the inner underarm lining of the tweed jacket as underarm staining is very common and historic repairs as some of the jackets can be up to 70 ye
